Southern Oregon’s breathtaking Toketee Falls is a must-see for any traveler who enjoys natural wonders! The trail leads to an elevated platform from which you can see both tiers of this beautiful waterfall cascading down sheer cliffsides over 120 feet!
The stunning Toketee Falls is a must-see for any traveler passing through the area and is located approximately 58 miles east of Roseburg off of Route 138. Along the trail, you will be surrounded by lush greenery on your journey to the top of Toketee Falls! But be prepared – although the trail is less than a half mile long, there are a lot of stairs! You can enjoy picturesque views while making your way to the viewpoint surrounded by old growth stands of timber and undergrowth that were untouched by last year’s Oregon wildfires.
Prepare to be awed by the beauty of this trail as they pass through an old-growth stand entirely made up Douglas fir, Western red cedar big leaf maple and Pacific yew trees. A bench is located about halfway along the path where you can take some time out for yourselves before continuing on your journey into nature’s sanctuary! When you reach the end of this trail, there will be a viewing platform that offers stunning views. The picturesque view of the river as it cascades through a narrow gorge is something you will not want to miss. The upper fall drops 40 feet, and the bottom fall drops another 80 feet.
