Growing up was a blast in my huge, boisterous family. I’ve got more siblings and cousins than I can count, and family get-togethers were a wild ride (let’s be real, they still are.)

The love for animals? Well, that’s been a lifelong affair. I’ve always had a soft spot for my cats and dogs, farm animals, and wild animals.

Hunting, fishing, hiking, camping – you name it, I’ve probably tried it. These adventures are in my blood, especially since I spent some formative years in Washington, surrounded by breathtaking nature. The great outdoors became my playground.

Swimming and soaking up the sun? You bet, especially after moving to sunny California. It’s where I caught the travel bug, exploring new horizons and making memories across the US.

Now, Douglas County, Oregon is where I hang my hat. The diverse landscapes have only deepened my connection to the wild. I love the idea of being able to build a sustainable, self-sufficient life and being one with the land.
