Hey, guys. Anthony Beckham here today, to give you a tour of Stewart Park. Stewart Park is my favorite park here in Roseburg. It’s a 236 acre park with all kinds of fun things to do, like a playground, the Stewart Park Golf Course, Music on the Half Shell, the train, a baseball field, and a disc golf course, a volleyball court, and a tennis court. Welcome to Stewart Park.

We’re here at one of Stewart Park’s many attractions, with this old, early 1900’s steam locomotive. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, playing with my siblings and playing with my friends, and we always lovingly referred to it as the train.

Stewart Park has one of the nicest playgrounds here in Douglas County. They completely re-did it just a handful of years ago, and it is a great place to bring the kids. Stewart Park has miles of trails, great for walking the dog, jogging, or even bike-riding.

Stewart Park is home to Music on the Half Shell, where every Tuesday, different performers come all summer long to entertain us during our busy week. Stewart Park also features Riverfront Park disc golf course, which is an 18 hole course right along the South Umpqua River. So let’s play some disc.

As you can see, Riverfront Park is a ton of fun. It’s a challenging course with oak trees everywhere that you have to dodge, and we didn’t even know those guys. We were able to hop in, make some new friends. It’s a great place to bring the family, bring the kids, and have a ton of fun. So now that we’re warmed up with a little bit of disc golf, let’s go warm up my golf swing over at Stewart Park Golf Course.

We’re here at the Stewart Park Golf Course. A golf course established in 1960, this nine hole golf course features two sets of tees for different skill levels, making it a challenging yet fun golf course, even for a beginner like me. So let’s go ahead and play some golf.

This hole here is one of my favorite, where we actually have to clear the pond. It’s a good place to lose a couple of balls, so let’s go ahead and give it a shot.

Thank you guys so much for watching our tour today of Stewart Park, one of my favorite parks in Douglas County. Go ahead and comment below, let me know what your favorite park is here in Douglas County, so we can do that next. Don’t forget to like and subscribe for more content just like this, and I will see you on the next one. Thanks.
