Unfortunately, Susan Creek Falls hiking trail was hit hard by the Oregon Wildfires in 2020. The Archie Creek fire has greatly impacted the Glide Oregon community, as well as the landscape up the North Umpqua River likely for years to come.
If interested in helping the Glide Oregon residents who lost their homes or were affected by the Archie Creek fire, feel free to donate to Glide Revitalization & Glide Strong programs HERE.
The Susan Creek Falls Hike is open again and is a popular choice among the many waterfall trails located along the North Umpqua River. The falls are easily accessed from the family friendly 1.9 mile hiking trail located near Idleyld Park, Oregon outside of Glide, Oregon. Susan Creek Falls Trail is easily accessible for all skill levels and features the beautiful 60-foot Susan Creek Falls waterfall.
The Susan Creek Falls hike is a favorite because of its easy grade trail. The wheelchair and stroller friendly trail makes this one a popular choice for all ages. The trail is accessible year-round, and is dog friendly as long as your pets are kept on a leash.
